I’m Alex Turner, a mediator with a background in people management and business operations. I help people explore disagreements, understand different perspectives and consider what might enable them to move forward.
My interest in mediation grew from seeing how unresolved tensions can affect working relationships, business decisions and everyday life. Often, people need time and space to explain what matters to them and hear each other more clearly.
I bring a calm, thoughtful approach and an appreciation of the practical pressures people face. Whether you are exploring mediation for a dispute or looking to connect professionally, I welcome an initial conversation.
My Approach
Difficult conversations can feel daunting, particularly when trust has been affected or earlier attempts to resolve matters have been unsuccessful. I aim to make the process understandable and give everyone a fair opportunity to contribute.
I listen carefully, ask questions and help people clarify their concerns. Together, we can explore where perspectives differ, what needs attention and which options may be worth considering.
My role is to support the conversation rather than decide who is right or impose a solution. You remain responsible for your decisions. I approach each discussion with patience, curiosity and respect, recognising that a useful outcome needs to reflect the circumstances of those involved.

I welcome contact from individuals, organisations and professional advisers who would like to explore mediation for a suitable matter.
I also welcome conversations with mediation providers, panels and established practitioners about observation, co-mediation and voluntary opportunities as I develop my practice.
Based in London, I can discuss in-person availability across London and the South East, alongside online mediation across the UK. Appointments are arranged individually. Please mention any access or communication requirements when getting in touch so we can discuss what would help you participate.
